Wine Country

I wasn't sure if I was ready for Summer to end, but then came September, which turned out to be a very difficult month. Many things seemed to happen all at once and I felt like I needed to escape for a day to clear my mind and stabilize my emotions. I took a day trip to Napa and spent the warm afternoon walking through some beautiful vineyards, tasting wine and sampling grapes right off the vines. My favorite moment was the car ride leaving Napa. That sounds strange but as I passed by the beautiful green vineyards, I felt like Napa gave me a sense of calmness and strength I needed to give the Fall season a warm welcome.

I think sometimes we ALL need a little time away (even for just a day) to find a little zen and centering to feel like we can re tackle our lives head on. I don't think you could have picked a more beautiful place to do it in. Those pictures look gorgeous and you look happy in them :)

I haven't been to Napa, but I imagine it's gorgeous.. these pictures are really great! Making me want my wedding there, though that will never happen, lol..
